Heidi Whitcomb - CEO

Heidi Whitcomb is a second generation owner of Ventura Rental Party Center Inc. at the helm of the business since the mid 1980’s. Heidi’s breadth of knowledge from an event rental perspective is immense having designed and coordinated thousands of events from intimate family gatherings to corporate events with 8000 guests in attendance. A firm believer in community involvement, Heidi and her team orchestrate multiple event projects on a monthly basis including Ojai Music Festival, Community Memorial Health Systems events, Casa Pacifica Food & Wine Festival along with various other non-profit corporate and private events.

A consistent force in the event rental industry for over thirty years, Heidi has been recognized from her peers with awards such as the National Association of Catering Executives Event Professional of the Year, and Inspirational Member of the Year. In 2013, Heidi captured the coveted President’s Award. This national award is bestowed upon selfless leaders and is awarded to only one outstanding member each year. Heidi has also obtained the Certified Event Rental Professional (CERP) designation through the American Rental Association and was a featured panelist on multiple occasions for the national Rental Show hosted by the American Rental Association.

Heidi highly values children in need and helping them have a voice. She has advocated for children by volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate and is currently mentoring mothers trying to reunite with their children through her work with The City Center in Ventura.

Heidi Whitcomb currently sits on both the Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation Board & Casa Pacifica Board serving as chairwoman for their Programs and Oversight Committee.

Heidi and her husband Mike have been happily married for 33 years and reside in Somis, CA. They have raised three children who are now thriving young adults. When Heidi has free time she likes to garden, hike, travel and spend time at home with her husband and dog Libbey. Heidi, along with her husband Mike, is thrilled to be awaiting their first grandchild in the fall.

Ramon Solis - Warehouse Manager

We are excited to welcome Ramon Solis to the Ventura Rental Team in the Warehouse Manager position. Ramon oversees the daily warehouse operations as well as managing a team of 15 employees. Skilled in the complete art of event rental delivery, set up and placement, Ramon is often called on to offer his layout expertise, measure a prospective event space and offer solutions to challenging projects. He brings over 25 years of event rental industry experience and a wealth of knowledge hailing from the largest rental company in the US. Ramon has overseen events in both Mexico and Canada with expertise in multi-canopy music and wine festivals and large non-profit, corporate and private events. Ramon's top skills include effectively increasing profitability and leading and managing his team.

Ramon resides in Santa Paula with his wife and four children; three daughters and a son. He spends his leisure time enjoying the great outdoors camping, hiking and fishing.

Georgia Robinson - Showroom Sales Director

Georgia brings a high level of detail to Ventura Rental Party Center and has established an outstanding reputation for extraordinary design and event consultation. A key member of the team, Georgia has been designing events at Ventura Rental Party Center for over 20 years. Her areas of expertise range from creating showroom tablescapes to event, weddings and one on one consultations. Georgia works closely and in conjunction with many local caterers and event venue professionals and her suggestions are always sought after.

Georgia resides in Ojai and recently was blessed with her 1st grandbaby!

Georgia Robinson

Shanon Rice-Johnson - Major Account Manager

Shanon Rice joins the Ventura Rental team as our Major Account Manager having previously served for six years as Director of Operations and Events at the Museum of Ventura County. Shanon brings with her a substantial skill set in the areas of managing large event projects, overseeing event logistics and facilitating event and vendor coordination. She enjoys working with the local community having been a resident in the city of Ventura for over eight years.

A California girl at heart, Shanon attended San Diego State University on a full ride softball scholarship. She loves spending time with her family and friends and especially enjoys camping with her husband Casey.

Shanon Rice-Johnson  - Major Account Manager

Nicole Peters - Sales Director

Nicole was born and raised in Ventura County. Having spent 7 years in the events industry as a Catering Director for local venues, she brings a fresh perspective for our clients. She is a proud member of the Ventura Chapter of the National Association for Catering and Events, and currently serves as the Chapter President. In her free time she loves cooking, reading, and most importantly making memories with her son Trent.

Nicole Peters

Marisela Salas - Kitchen/Linen Manager

Mari has been a team member for 17 years and holds a multifaceted position within the Ventura Rental Party Center family. She heads up both the kitchen and linen division of the business, and oversees a staff of three. Due to the duality of her position, Mari is responsible for inventory control and supplying a wide range of event rental needs from complete table top and linens to various décor items for each event.

Mari enjoys dancing and spending time with her husband and four beautiful girls.

Marisela Salas

Amanda Casner - Senior Event Consultant

Amanda Casner has a strong industry skill set having worked in the event and non-profit industry for almost ten years. She assists Heidi Whitcomb with day to day operations and oversees several key accounts. Amanda has a great eye for design and enjoys assisting clients with event set up and design while offering options to stay within budget.

A 2006 graduate of California State University Channel Islands, Amanda was born and raised in Ventura. She enjoys book club, the beach, hiking at Arroyo Verde, spending time with her awesome friends and family and of course planning her friend's weddings, bridal and baby showers!

Nikole (Nikki) Gutierrez - Event Consultant

Nikki has recently joined the Ventura Rental Party Center team as an event consultant. Graduating from FIDM with a Bachelors in Business Management and minor in Merchandising Product Development, Nikki gained a new love for merchandising and design. Working in the customer service industry solidified her passion for helping others and making sure they have the best experience possible. She hopes to expand her knowledge of the rental business and continue creating long lasting relationships with clients. Born in Ventura County, Nikki grew up in Tehachapi, California enjoying a country life to the fullest. In her free time she enjoys fishing, bowling, playing soccer, treasure hunting, and going camping.
