Heidi Whitcomb

CEO

Heidi Whitcomb is a second generation owner of Ventura Rental Party & Events. At the helm of the business since the mid 1980’s. Heidi’s breadth of knowledge from an event rental perspective is immense having designed and coordinated thousands of events from intimate family gatherings to corporate events with 8000 guests in attendance. A firm believer in community involvement, Heidi and her team orchestrate multiple event projects on a monthly basis including Ojai Music Festival, Community Memorial Health Systems events, Casa Pacifica Food & Wine Festival along with various other non-profit corporate and private events.

A consistent force in the event rental industry for over thirty years, Heidi has been recognized from her peers with awards such as the National Association of Catering Executives Event Professional of the Year, and Inspirational Member of the Year. In 2013, Heidi captured the coveted President’s Award. This national award is bestowed upon selfless leaders and is awarded to only one outstanding member each year. Heidi has also obtained the Certified Event Rental Professional (CERP) designation through the American Rental Association and was a featured panelist on multiple occasions for the national Rental Show hosted by the American Rental Association.  Most recently, Heidi was awarded with the 2017 National Association of Women Business Owners- Ventura County Chapter. "Woman Business Owner of The Year"  

Heidi highly values children in need and helping them have a voice. She has advocated for children by volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate and is currently mentoring mothers trying to reunite with their children through her work with The City Center in Ventura.

Heidi Whitcomb currently sits on both the Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation Board & Casa Pacifica Board.

Heidi and her husband Mike have been happily married for 34 years and reside in Somis, CA. They have raised three children who are now thriving young adults. When Heidi has free time she likes to garden, hike, travel and spend time at home with her husband and dog Libbey. Heidi, along with her husband Mike, are enjoying their new role as grandparents to their three sweet grandbabies.

Georgia Robinson

Georgia Robinson

Showroom Sales Director

Georgia brings a high level of detail and has established an outstanding reputation for extraordinary design and event consultation. A key member of the team, Georgia has been designing events for over 25 years. Her areas of expertise range from creating showroom tablescapes to event, weddings and one on one consultations. Georgia works closely  with many local caterers, planners and event venue professionals and her design and logistic suggestions are well sought after.

Georgia resides in Ojai and loves spending time with her 3 beautiful granddaughters.

Shanon Rice-Johnson

Major Account Manager

Shanon joined the Ventura Rental team as our Major Account Manager having previously served for six years as Director of Operations and Events at the Museum of Ventura County. Shanon brings with her substantial event and vendor coordination. She enjoys working with the local community having been a resident in the city of Ventura for over 10 years.

A California girl at heart, Shanon attended San Diego State University on a full ride softball scholarship. She loves spending time with her family and friends and especially enjoys camping with her husband Casey.

Nicole Peters

Sales Director

Nicole was born and raised in Ventura County. Having spent 7 years in the events industry as a Catering Director for local venues, she brings a fresh perspective for our clients. She is proud member of the Ventura Chapter of the National Association for Catering and Events, and currently serves as the Chapter President. In her free time she loves cooking, reading, and most importantly making memories with her son Trent.

Mari

Marisela Salas

Kitchen & Linen Manager

Lending her expertise to the Ventura Rental Party & Events family for more than 20 years, Marisela oversees our Kitchen and Linen departments and has a staff of three. Due to her duality of her position, Mari is responsible for inventory control and supplying a wide range of event rental needs from complete table top and linens to various decor items for each event. When not working Mari enjoys dancing and spending time with her husband and her five charming children.

Amanda

Amanda Casner-Pasetta

Senior Event Consultant

Amanda has a strong industry skill set having worked in the event and non-profit for over ten years. Amanda has a great eye for design and enjoys assisting clients with event set up and design while options to stay within budget. Her expertise combined with her recent wedding, gives her the edge of relating to brides contributing to their overall experience.

Amanda was born and raised in Ventura. She enjoys book club, the beach, hiking, and spending time with her husband, family and friends and of course planning her friends' weddings, bridal and baby showers!

Nikki

Nikole (Nikki) Gutierrez

Event Consultant

Nikki graduated from FIDM with a Bachelors in Business Management and minor in Merchandising Product Development. While in school she gained a new love for merchandising and design. Working in the customer service industry solidified her passion for helping others and making sure they have the best experience possible. She continues to expand her knowledge of the event rental industry and focuses on creating long lasting relationships with clients. Born in Ventura County, Nikki grew up in Tehachapi, California enjoying a country life to the fullest. In her free time she enjoys fishing, bowling, playing soccer, treasure hunting and camping.

Celine Wall

Administrative Assistant

Celine graduated from CSUCI with a Bachelor’s in Organizational Communication and a minor in Business Management. While in school she gained a deeper love for the nonprofit sector and corporate event planning. Helping others and working to make a common goal come true is a passion Celine carries both in life and in the workforce. This passion continues to grow as she assists customers with their events and helps solve problems in the office. California raised, Celine loves spending time with family and friends in the outdoors in her free time.”
