Why winter parties here need a little more gear
Our coast is mild in winter, so people want to be outside. The catch is the evening. Once the sun drops, a patio or a backyard cools down fast, and guests head for the door.
That is why winter parties here lean on heat and cover. A patio heater warms the people standing near it. A fire table gives guests a spot to gather. A tent with walls keeps the wind off and holds the warmth in.
The second issue is timing. Holiday parties stack up on the same few Fridays and Saturdays. Offices, families and planners all reach for the same chairs, linens and heaters. Our holiday rentals guide, from tents to tableware has the full list, item by item.
Holiday party rentals when the guest list keeps growing
The date is set. The guest list grew again. Now the office break room or your dining table will not fit everyone.
You need more seats, more plates and somewhere warm to stand. You also need it all to match. Borrowed chairs and paper plates do not say thank you to a team that worked hard all year.
A planner has the same problem with more moving parts. The venue gives you a room or a lawn. Everything else is on you, and December weekends get busy.

Which holiday party are you planning?
The office holiday party
Start with seating and tables for the whole team, then linens and a bar. Lighting changes the feel of an office. Our corporate event rentals page covers staging and audio.
The holiday party at home
Most homes run short on chairs and place settings first. A holiday package handles the table, and heaters let the party spill outside. See private event and party rentals too.
The outdoor or tented party
Pick a tent, then add walls, lighting and heat. Clear and white walls are both in the catalog. Ask early, since tents take more planning and sometimes a site visit.
The planner's event
Send us the venue, the date and a rough headcount. We quote the full list in one place, from tables and chairs to linens and tabletop, with delivery and setup.
Holiday package options and what they include
Each holiday package is a full place setting for one guest. Winter Wonderland pairs a silver band glass charger with white and silver plates. It adds snowflake napkin rings, crystal coupes and Rialto flatware. Kris Kringle goes gold, with a gold charger, brushed gold flatware and gold rim glassware.
Our catalog notes that table decorations and tablecloths are not part of most packages. Add linens and centerpieces on their own, so the table looks finished.

Holiday party rental questions
How early should I book holiday party rentals?
Book as soon as you have a date and a rough headcount. We take reservations up to two years in advance. Holiday weekends are busy for everyone, and an early order gives you the widest choice. You can also rent items the same day when stock allows, but that is a gamble in December.
Do you rent holiday china and place settings?
Yes. Each holiday package is a full place setting for one guest: a charger, plates, a napkin and ring, glassware and flatware, depending on the package. Winter Wonderland goes silver and Kris Kringle goes gold. If you want to mix your own, our china catalog lists plates and chargers on their own. Table decorations and tablecloths are not in the packages.
Do you rent heaters and tents for a winter party?
Yes. We rent patio heaters, fire tables and fire pits for a patio or backyard party. A fire table gives guests a spot to gather, and patio heaters warm the people standing near them. If the party moves under cover, our tent rental page covers tents, walls and the blower heater that warms a tent with the walls down.
Do you set up the rentals?
We can set up tables, chairs, pop up tents and umbrellas for an added fee. We do not set up tabletop items such as linen, glassware, china and flatware. Some items include setup in the rental price and some do not. Ask an event consultant when you get your quote.
Do you deliver to offices and homes in Santa Barbara?
Yes, our delivery area includes Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, West L.A. and the Santa Ynez Wine Country. Delivery fees are based on our normal hours, weekdays and Saturday mornings. After hours arrangements can be made for an added fee. Give us the address when you ask for a quote.
